Request appointments
What it does
Section titled “What it does”With Request appointments, your agent takes the customer’s preferred service and time, but nothing is reserved. Your team reviews each request and turns it into a booking. Use it when a person needs to approve every appointment, for example to check a doctor’s schedule first.
Good for
Section titled “Good for”Clinics and businesses where appointments need a human check before they are confirmed.
What it needs
Section titled “What it needs”- At least one active service linked to at least one active resource with a weekly schedule. See Set up your services and resources.
- The Support tickets skill (installed by default). Each request is added to a ticket so your team can follow up.
What your customers experience
Section titled “What your customers experience”Customer: I’d like a dermatology appointment next Monday morning.
Agent: Dr. Layla has 9:00 am and 10:30 am on Monday. Which would you prefer?
Customer: 10:30.
Agent: I’ve sent your request for Monday at 10:30 am. This time is not reserved yet; our team will confirm it with you.
What happens behind the scenes
Section titled “What happens behind the scenes”- The agent finds the service and the staff or rooms that provide it, and suggests times from their weekly schedule.
- It sends the request and adds it to a ticket for that conversation, where your team sees a Requested appointment card.
- Your team turns the request into a booking with Create booking.

Settings
Section titled “Settings”This skill has no settings. It works as soon as it is installed.
Install it
Section titled “Install it”-
Set up at least one service and resource first.

Go to Settings, then under AI click Skills.

Click + to open the Skill gallery, then click Request appointments.

Click Install skill.

Good to know
Section titled “Good to know”Because nothing is reserved, the suggested times do not take existing bookings into account, and two customers can request the same time. Your team decides which request gets it.
