Join a team you were invited to
When a business adds you to its team on tkana, you receive an invitation by email. This article is for you, the person who was invited. Accepting takes a minute, and you go straight into the business’s workspace. You do not need to set up an agent or a business of your own.
Accept the invitation
Section titled “Accept the invitation”-
Open the invitation email and click the invitation link. Use the same email address the invitation was sent to.

The Join your team page opens.
- New to tkana? Create your account. Your email is already filled in from the invitation.
- Already have an account? Click Sign in at the bottom of the page and sign in.

Once you are signed in, you see Joining your team… and then land in the workspace.
If you are already signed in to tkana when you open the link, the invitation is accepted automatically and you go straight to the workspace.
What you see after joining
Section titled “What you see after joining”You land on the workspace’s Home page. The pages in your sidebar depend on the role the business gave you, so you may not see every page described in this help center. If you need access to something, ask the account owner who invited you.
If you belong to more than one workspace
Section titled “If you belong to more than one workspace”If you are a member of several businesses on tkana, you choose which workspace to open when you sign in. See Manage your profile, password, and workspaces.
Invitation problems
Section titled “Invitation problems”| What you see | What to do |
|---|---|
| This invitation link is incomplete | The link was cut off or copied incorrectly. Open the invitation again from the original email, or ask the business to send a new invitation. |
| We couldn’t find this invitation | The invitation was already used, or it was sent to a different email address than the account you are signed in with. Click Sign out & use another account and sign in with the invited email. |
| Something went wrong | Click Try again. If it keeps happening, ask the business to send a new invitation. |
