Point Aida at a record with @
When you want to ask about a specific ticket, booking, or customer that is not on the page you have open, attach it to your message with @. Aida then reads that exact record before she answers, so “What is the status of this?” or “Cancel it” is never ambiguous.
Pick a record from the list
Section titled “Pick a record from the list”-
In the Aida message box, type @. A Reference a record menu lists the kinds of records you can open: Ticket, Booking, and Customer.
-
Choose a kind. Aida shows your Recent tickets, Recent bookings, or Recent customers. Keep typing to search.
-
Use the arrow keys to move, Enter to pick, and Esc to close the menu. Or click the record.
-
The record appears inside your message as a small pill with an icon for its kind and a readable label: the ticket reference and subject, the booking’s weekday, date, time, and service, or the customer’s name. Finish your question and send it.
Pills in your messages
Section titled “Pills in your messages”The pill stays in your message after you send it, and in your history of Aida conversations. Click any pill to open that record in the portal behind the Aida panel.
- One message can reference up to five records.
- To remove a record before you send, delete its pill from the message box like any other text.
Or type the reference yourself
Section titled “Or type the reference yourself”You can type the whole reference in your message:
| To attach | Type | Example |
|---|---|---|
| A ticket | @ticket and its reference |
@ticket TK-4F7Q2M what is the status? |
| A booking | @booking and its reference |
@booking PP-8H2K5D move it to Thursday at 5 pm |
| A customer | @customer and their phone number or exact name |
@customer 0501234567 any open tickets? |
In the Arabic portal you can also type @تذكرة, @حجز, or @عميل. Once Aida recognizes the record, the reference you typed turns into a pill.
A few tips:
- A phone number can include dashes but not spaces.
- For a customer name, type the exact name. If it has several words, put it in quotes, like
@customer "Ahmed Ali". - If a name matches more than one customer, Aida does not attach anyone. Use the phone number instead.
When a reference is not attached
Section titled “When a reference is not attached”If a reference could not be attached, it stays as plain text and Aida says why by the message box, for example:
- It didn’t match anything you can open.
- It matches more than one record. Try the phone number or the exact reference.
- You don’t have access to view that here.
- It couldn’t be checked just now. Type it again.
