Salla · Up-sell

With Salla · Up-sell, your assistant points the customer to a larger size, a higher tier, or a newer model of the product they picked, with the real difference and the real price from your Salla catalog. It mentions it once, at the right moment, and respects the customer’s choice.

Salla stores that sell the same product in several sizes, packs, or tiers, such as beauty, cleaning products, groceries, and electronics.

Several versions of the same product in your Salla catalog, such as a 1-liter and a 5-liter bottle, in stock. Nothing else: your store is already connected since you installed tkana.

Customer: I’ll take the car shampoo, 1 liter.

Assistant: Done. We also have the same shampoo in a 5-liter bottle for SAR 95, which works out cheaper if you wash your car often. Would you like that instead of the 1 liter?

Customer: Yes, switch it.

Assistant: Done, I’ve switched it to the 5-liter bottle in your cart.

  • Waits until the customer picks a product, and never opens the conversation with an upgrade pitch.
  • Looks for a better version of the same product in your Salla catalog, not a different, pricier product, and checks it’s in stock.
  • States the real difference and real price once, before the order summary.
  • Swaps the item in the cart if the customer agrees, so the summary shows what they actually chose.

If there’s no better version available, your assistant doesn’t mention an upgrade. It never invents a discount or fakes urgency.

This skill is optional. You’ll find it on the Skills tab as the Salla · Up-sell card.

  2. Click the toggle on the Salla · Up-sell card. You’ll see Skill turned on, and the card’s state changes to Enabled.

To turn it off, click the toggle again. You’ll see Skill turned off.

  1. Click Settings on the Salla · Up-sell card. The button works while the skill is on.

  2. Choose How many suggestions per chat, meaning how many times an upgrade can be suggested in one conversation: None, One (the default), or Two.

  3. Click Save. You’ll see Settings saved.

  • Up-sell suggests a better version of the same product. To suggest a complementary product, also turn on Salla · Cross-sell.
  • Set How many suggestions per chat to None to pause suggestions while keeping the skill on.
