What it does

Customers ask “do you have this?” all day long. With Salla · Product search, your assistant searches your live Salla catalog, suggests a few matching products with their prices, and checks real stock before it confirms anything is available. Customers who are still browsing can explore your categories and brands right in the chat.

Works automatically

There is nothing to install or turn on. This skill is set up for your store automatically when you install tkana from the Salla app store, and it works with your catalog directly. That is why it does not appear on the Skills tab, which only lists optional skills.

All it needs is an up-to-date catalog in Salla. Your assistant reads products, prices, and stock straight from your store, so keep them current there.

Customer: Do you have a black laptop backpack?

Assistant: Yes, here are three options: the Urban Backpack 15” (SAR 189 incl. VAT), the Travel Pro (SAR 249), and the Slim Laptop Bag (SAR 159). Would you like details on any of them?

Customer: Is the Urban one in stock?

Assistant: Yes, it’s in stock. It comes in black and grey, and you’ll pick the color when you order. Here’s the product link.

What happens behind the scenes

• Searches your catalog from the customer’s description, in Arabic or English, and can filter by category or in-stock items only.
• Lists your categories and brands when the customer wants to browse.
• Checks live stock before saying a product is available, out of stock, or running low.
• Quotes the price the customer pays, including VAT, and shares the product link once the customer settles on one item.

Your assistant never invents a product, price, discount, or delivery date. If it can’t find what the customer wants, it says so and offers to check with your team.

This skill has no settings. To guide how your assistant talks about your products, add information or instructions on the Knowledge tab. See What your assistant knows: Content.

Tips and limits

• Follow product questions and your assistant’s answers in the Inbox.
• If you disconnect tkana from your store in Salla, the Salla skills stop working, and they resume when you reconnect.
• Works with Salla · Ordering in chat so customers can buy what they find without leaving the chat.
