Salla · Ordering in chat
What it does
Section titled “What it does”With Salla · Ordering in chat, customers can buy from you without leaving the WhatsApp chat. Your assistant helps them pick products, builds the cart, works out delivery and its cost, reads back the full order with VAT and the total, and creates the order in your Salla store only after the customer says yes. The customer then pays on your store’s secure checkout link, or pays the courier in cash if you offer it.
Good for
Section titled “Good for”Salla stores whose customers like to order by message, and stores that get many “can I order through here?” questions.
Works automatically
Section titled “Works automatically”There is nothing to install or turn on. This skill is set up for your store automatically when you install tkana from the Salla app store, and it does not appear on the Skills tab, which only lists optional skills.
It does rely on your store being set up in Salla: products with prices and stock, your shipping companies and the areas they cover, pickup branches if you offer pickup, and your enabled payment methods. Your assistant reads all of these from your store, so check them in your Salla dashboard.
What your customers experience
Section titled “What your customers experience”Customer: I want 2 bottles of the rose body mist.
Assistant: The Rose Body Mist is in stock at SAR 65 each, incl. VAT. I have added 2 to your cart. Anything else, or shall we arrange delivery?
Customer: Deliver to Riyadh please.
Assistant: Please share your national address short code, like RGDA3915, or send me your location pin. You can choose between two couriers for Riyadh…
Assistant: Here is your order: 2 × Rose Body Mist = SAR 130, subtotal before VAT SAR 113.04, VAT SAR 16.96, delivery SAR 20, payment online. Total to pay: SAR 150. Shall I place the order?

- Turn on Salla · Cross-sell or Salla · Up-sell on the Skills tab to suggest an add-on or a better version before the order summary.
